Why CCP Is Different
Most concrete flooring contractors hide pricing until they get you on the phone. We publish ours: in most cases above 2,000 SQFT we charge $2.00 to $5.00 per square foot for commercial polishing, $1.75 per linear foot for polyurea joint filler and $0.15 per square foot for Ashford applications. Custom home pricing varies by access and size, but we give you a real number on the first call.
CCP follows an 8-step process that adheres to national concrete polishing specifications, and we pride ourselves on the most dustless jobs possible. We follow manufacturer specifications on every product we use, from Ashford Formula Densifier to polyurea joint fillers to MMA-based topcoats.
We’re owner-operated by Brad Butterfield, who has spent over 10 years in the flooring industry. When you call 720-212-8422, you talk to Brad, the person responsible for the work. We’re a small company that helped complete the flooring of the second largest retailer in Colorado. On that single project, we polished over 50,000 SQFT and on our largest joint filling job completed over 280,000 linear feet of concrete.
Since March 2017, CCP has densified over 5 million square feet, installed over 2 million linear feet of joint filler and caulking, and polished over 1 million square feet of concrete across Colorado.
What We Do
- Concrete Polishing: Polished concrete has become a popular flooring choice for retail spaces, warehouses, office buildings, and modern homes thanks to its low maintenance requirements, long-lasting durability, sustainability, design versatility, and cost-effectiveness.
- Stained Concrete: Whether you’re aiming for a warm, marbled look or a clean, modern style, stained concrete from Kansas City Concrete Polishing provides a durable, low-maintenance flooring option that can be fully customized to fit your vision.
- Epoxy Coatings: Epoxy flooring not only protects your concrete but also improves its performance and visual appeal, offering benefits like concealing imperfections, slip-resistant options, easy upkeep, customizable colors and finishes, and long-lasting durability.
- Concrete Densifier (Ashford Formula): Ashford Formula Densifier applied to commercial concrete surfaces to densify for strength, increase abrasion resistance, cure, dust-proof, and produce a permanent sheen with a single application.
- Joint Caulking: Concrete naturally expands and contracts in response to temperature shifts, moisture, and structural movement. Without proper caulking, joints can trap dirt, debris, and moisture, which may result in cracks or slab movement, water damage or mold growth, and accelerated wear that shortens the concrete’s lifespan.
- Cleaning and Sealing: Cleaning and sealing concrete helps remove built-up dirt, stains, and contaminants while protecting the surface from moisture and damage. A proper seal extends the concrete’s lifespan and keeps it looking clean, durable, and well-maintained.
- Coating Removals: Concrete coating removal involves stripping away old sealers, epoxies, or paints to restore the surface or prepare it for a new application. This process ensures proper adhesion, improves appearance, and helps extend the life of the new coating system.
- Single and Double Sand Broadcast: Single and double sand broadcast systems are concrete coating techniques that embed sand into a base layer to create a textured, slip-resistant surface. A single broadcast provides moderate traction and a cleaner look, while a double broadcast builds a thicker, more durable finish with enhanced grip for high-traffic or industrial areas.
- Quartz Broadcast: Quartz broadcast concrete is a decorative coating system that incorporates colored quartz granules into a resin base to create a durable, slip-resistant surface. It offers excellent abrasion resistance, chemical protection, and a clean, vibrant appearance ideal for both commercial and industrial environments.
- Metallic Epoxy Finishes: Metallic epoxy finishes are decorative floor coatings that use reflective pigments to create a rich, three-dimensional look with swirling, marble-like effects. They provide a seamless, durable, and low-maintenance surface that adds a bold, modern aesthetic to residential and commercial spaces.
- Sealing and Joint filling: Control joints are deliberate cuts made in concrete to manage cracking by giving the slab space to expand and contract safely. For them to work effectively and keep a neat appearance, they must be properly sealed.
- Concrete Overlays: Concrete overlays are thin resurfacing layers applied over existing concrete to repair damage and improve appearance without needing full replacement. They can be customized with colors, textures, and patterns, offering a durable and cost-effective way to upgrade worn or outdated surfaces.
- Concrete Sidewalk Beveling: Concrete sidewalk beveling is the process of smoothing and angling the edges of concrete slabs to reduce sharp transitions and improve safety. It helps prevent tripping hazards, extends the life of the sidewalk, and creates a cleaner, more finished appearance.
- Cleaning and Sealing: Concrete cleaning and sealing applications including salt guard, polish guard, densifier, acrylic, and MMA-based coatings, plus oil stain removal in garages and driveways.
What We Don’t Offer
We don’t do existing-home interior remodels, basement remodels, or polishing where cabinets, doors, or trim are already installed. We’re set up for new construction, custom new builds, large attached garages, and commercial work. If your project doesn’t fit, we’ll tell you and refer you to someone who handles that work better.
